Hello,
my name is Nick Bentley, and I've run several successful Internet
business over the last 12 years. I enjoy doing it, and the financial
success has been much better than any job I've ever had. About five
months ago my business partner got involved with
a large corporation that lets you send a greeting card with your
photos, message, (even in your scanned handwriting) and gift baskets or
gift certificates from your computer to any mailing address in the
world. Your card gets printed on a seven million dollar printer (only
six exist in the United States and they have two of them) and mailed in
a decorative envelope with a first class stamp (not a bulk rate stamp
like others).
They can send these to any address that the US Post Office delivers to
in the world. We make marketing courses for small businesses, and I've
seen it all over the years. Every "super system" claim, every
"marvelous product", every pitch, promise, miracle niknak, and amazing
technodoodle. I've seen it all, and if what came next didn't come from
Jason, who's been in this business and my friend for 12 years, I
probably would haven't looked into it any further, just on how many
business opportunities I see each day.
Professionally designed by
the top artists in the industry.
Now, when he first told me about it, I thought it sounded neat, but it
wasn't until he was really doing well with it that it got my attention.
He flew out to Arizona and called me three times while touring their
campus, he sounded like a little kid instead of a jaded professional
marketer, commenting on the 40,000 square foot facility, describing the
huge conference rooms, he compared it to the Google campus as to how
nice it was. We've both been in the Internet marketing business and
we've seen every kind of business opportunity known to man. I've heard
so many, that I've gotten pretty immune or jaded to hearing about them.
It really wasn't until he got back and we got to talking about it on
the phone that I realized the possibilities and I felt an enthusiasm I
haven't felt in years. I'll explain in a nutshell the ideas we tossed
around that got me so excited, and how this isn't just a "feel good"
business, but one that makes excellent income.
Every occasion is covered from supporting
our troops to graduation greeting cards.
How does it
work and what can you make?
First, it's a multilevel system, so
when you're a distributor, anyone
you get signed up under you gives commissions (typically you get .20
to .54 cents per card depending on options) on any cards they
ever
send, and there's a down line for distributors you sign up, and you
receive $100 to $230 each depending on the package. Also keep in mind,
sending greeting cards is something that everyone can
use, whether they are an individual or a business. Most businesses like
doctors offices, veterinarians, real estate agents, dentists, and so on
spend a lot of money getting a client, and pay a lot of money to
companies to send out appointment reminders and other things to keep
their customers coming back. This usually amounts to an impersonal post
card which gets mixed results. With this system they can do it
themselves and personalize it with photos for a lot less than they are
paying now. For individuals, it's the hassle factor of going down to
the store and choosing from a cheesy selection of cards and paying
three to four dollars for one card. Most people don't do this for that
reason. With this system you have an online address book, over 8,000
professionally designed template cards to choose from, or create your
own, and the ability to scan your handwriting and upload your photos to
be printed on the front and inside of the card. You can also include a
check or gift certificate which makes it great for gift giving. All
this for about half the cost of buying a card at the store and going
through the hassle of filling it out by hand and mailing it.
Over 8,000 greeting cards to
choose from, each can be completely customized.
The
light bulb went off.
It wasn't until we spoke some more
and I started thinking about the
residual income, not just up to $230 for signing someone up for the
system, but also the commissions from any card they ever send. A
wedding
planner who sends 300 invitations with photos of the bride and groom,
then 300 thank you notes with photos from the wedding, or soldiers
overseas, the more I thought about who could use this the more excited
I got. The best thing is you don't have to do cold calling or other
things, send a wedding invitation card with your message and web site
to a wedding planner, or to a dentist office showing them how easy it
is to keep in touch with their customers using a personalized photo the
of staff. Again, at .20 to .54 cents per card they send, it wouldn't
take many businesses to build a big residual income, and that's for
life. There's so many more I could list, college students, retirees,
churches, homeowners associations, the target market really includes
everyone.
The neat stuff.
Being able to include gift
certificates, a check, or even a gift basket
for the recipient is one of the most fun things about this system. The
list of participating companies really lets you send a gift to just
about anyone.
Gift certificates and gift cards
that will be mailed with your greeting card, available in several
different denominations:
American Express Gift Cards Barnes & Noble Bed Bath and Beyond Blockbuster Home Depot ITunes Starbucks Coffee Gap Old Navy Banana Republic Walmart
Also there's a 5 in one card which can be used at all of the following:
Chilis
Macaroni Grill
On the Border
Maggiano's
Corner Bakery In addition there's a Canadian six
in one card which can be used at: Swiss Chalet Second Cup Kelsey's Harvey's Milestone's Grill & Bar Montana's Cookhouse
Avenue Sweets will also send them
one of their selection of gift
baskets of chocolates along with your card. This lets you really
personalize a gift for someone
with a present they will really use.
A multilevel system that really
works, here's how:
The reason that this company has been so successful is the multilevel
approach. You can't sign up directly with them, it has to be through
someone who's already a distributor. The reason for this is support.
The person you sign up with is responsible for training and answering
any questions you have, which is important to your own success. I'll
provide you with online flash based tutorials for every aspect of the
business, which you can also use to train your own down line which will
save huge amounts of time. My name is Nick Bentley, and you can always
reach me at 813-908-3138 with any questions 9am to 8pm EST Monday
through Saturday. You can also email me at nick@hotcardstore.com If you
get the answering service during business hours, there's a good reason.
I have call forward to them if busy so I can really concentrate on
helping you instead of flicking back and forth between two people on
hold. You'll always get a real person to talk to, and I'll return your
call the same day, usually within an hour. When starting any
business, having an expert coach who's accessible is a necessity, and
when we're on the phone you'll always have my undivided attention this
way.
Having money is nice, but having a permanent residual income from
anyone you sign up, one every card they ever send is even better. This
is the kind of product you can advertise both online and off. Sending
sample cards to local businesses, taking a banner ad on a college web
site, a banner on a military themed site with message boards, one for
Realtors, I've just never stopped coming up with ideas for places to
market this the more I think about it. It's so user friendly that I
wouldn't even hesitate to take out a classified ad in an AARP
newsletter, and I plan on sending gift certificates to my family this
year with cards, and putting a link to my site at the bottom if they
want to be able to do the same. No hard sell, just a small line at the
bottom "Want to send cards like this one? hotcardshop.com"
Send a card to
yourself free, it's on me.

This is what really got me interested. I uploaded our company
logo and sent a test card, a couple of days later it arrived and I
couldn't believe how nice it was. It looked like something you buy for
$4 off the store shelf, even our small logo looked crisp and clear,
with a glossy finish. Try this yourself and see. Also here's a quick
rundown of the different packages available:
Entrepreneur Package Plus This allows you to be a reseller,
and sign up people under you for any type of account, this requires one
of the auto order packages which gives you new points (credits towards
sending cards) and pays commission checks. You have the ability to scan
your handwriting in which gets printed instead of text, and to upload
photos into cards you send, on the front, inside, or both.
Wholesale Package Plus This is for a customer who wants to
send a lot of cards, like a business or association. It gives a
discount over other plans on the cards, but doesn't allow them to sign
people up under them. They get the handwriting package and Pictureplus,
the ability to upload their photos into cards they send.
Retail Package Plus This is a retail package
for small businesses or family who send cards on a regular basis, and
includes Pictureplus.
Retail Package #1 and #2 There's also two retail packages
that start at $25 a year, so virtually anyone can get started. If they
upgrade later, you get commissions on that as well. These less
expensive
accounts don't allow uploading photos, only the Plus accounts do that.
When you're a reseller with the Entrepreneur package, this flexibility
allows you to offer anything from the $25 package for someone who just
wants to send occasional cards, to the small business or large family,
or a wholesale pack for a large corporation that wants to send in
volume. In any case, no print shop or retail store can compete with
price and the ability to customize the cards with photos and gifts, not
to mention that they get to send it right from their computer. The win
for you is you get .18 to .54 cents on any card they ever send, and
this is the kind of thing people never stop using because of the
savings and convenience.
